This built-in LED headlight replaces the original sealed-beam unit on select John Deere tractors, combining high beam and low beam in a single 50W housing. Designed as a direct factory-style retrofit for John Deere 8020, 8030 and 8R Series tractors, it uses the original H4 harness connector already fitted on the machine — no cutting, no splicing.

With a wide 10-30V input, IP67 sealing and a powder-coated aluminium housing, this headlight is built to handle the vibration and dust of daily field work. The 60° flood beam pattern and 6000K colour temperature give a bright, even spread of light in front of the tractor for headland turns, transport and yard work.

It’s built around the specific H4 housing and 130 mm × 86 mm bolt spacing used on the 8020, 8030 and 8R Series models listed above. Other John Deere models may use a different housing and are not guaranteed to fit.

Is this headlight approved for on-road use?

No. It meets the R10 electromagnetic compatibility standard, but it is not homologated for on-road beam pattern approval. It’s intended for off-road, agricultural use only.

What does the CR-1049 replace?
