Our product designers, Christine and Ron share their journey of creating our Vision-Q’s and explain why they are a truly unique product. Enjoy!

How did the Vision Q spotlight come about and what was the vision behind it?

“The Vision-Q was created because we wanted to improve a spotlight we already sell. That was the first point of view. After the market research my thoughts were a little different because I wanted to make it nice and fancy, not only technically improved. I shared my vision with the rest of the team and Rob agreed that I could make something completely new. My designer hart was very happy, but I didn’t knew much about this kind of auxiliary light / spotlight. While working on a nice and exclusive design the market research goes on and the main USP that came up was: “Nice appearance and fantastic technical specifications” that was my main purpose. Besides that, I was working on another project of a headlight where we made the LED version very nice original halogen looking and everybody was exited about it. Then the final design of the appearance came up; a more old fashion looking light with modern features, completely developed by a new vision of Vision-Q.”

What makes the light special or unique?

“The Vision-Q lights are special because of the fact that they look fashionably old, but they have modern functions and also have a fantastic light pattern. Although the size of the lights is big, it is still a compact light with fancy design elements. The position light around the light and in the center of the light are the finishing touch. The reflection on the mirror makes it almost magical to look at, especially in the dark. The amber position light is my personal favorite. Even the cooling ribs at the back of the light is special designed for Vision-Q, instead of using the standard pattern you see in everyday life.”

Why it is technically advanced compared to other solutions on the market?

“The spotlights are a refined combination of an old-fashion but modern appearance, strong technical specifications, and a nice price-quality ratio. Even the packaging is well thought and gives the lights an exceptional feeling when revealing them. The lights look good on pick-ups but also on top of trucks and every other vehicle you see these kinds of lights on. I even heard somebody that wants the 7-inch version on his bicycle because he thought the light looks good. Also, the nice and even spread light pattern makes the vision of the light complete. If you need lights for practical function to see the kangaroos and other wildlife on the side of the road, or because you want some fancy lights on your truck, every purpose is possible.”
